It’s important to enjoy playing the piano – by choosing the style that best suits you. Whether it’s classical, pop or jazz, I can show you how to base your creativity on sound technique. I tailor each lesson to the individual pupil, taking into account their own particular learning styles and interests. There’s no getting away from the fact that regular practice on a good instrument is vital and I can offer advice on what kind of keyboard is right for you. I can prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity piano exams, as well as the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam. I can also provide opportunities for students to perform in front of others, in either a formal or informal setting. Above all, playing piano is something that should be enjoyed.
